The purpose of this article is to explain the options for left luggage and baggage store at or nearby Rarotonga International Airport.
Unfortunately there is no formal baggage storage facility at the Airport premises.
The Islander Hotel, a mere 100 meters from the Airport (towards Avarua town) offers short term bag storage for NZ$ 5 per piece - this is very useful if you depart in the middle of the night and wish to travel to the Airport by public bus or otherwise and spend the evening or night in the Airport and town area dining, feasting or partying.
